Lightning Seeds
Where do you start when talking about 90s band, Lightning Seeds?

Their eight UK top 20 hits including Pure, Perfect and Lucky You?

Or do you go straight to Three Lions, the massive singalong tune recorded with Frank Skinner and David Baddiel which became a huge hit when it was released for the Euro '96 Championship Finals that were staged in England?

Wherever you start you end up at the same place which is a band with a musical genius at its heart.

Liverpudlian Ian Broudie, sitting in his spare bedroom and recording songs for an imaginary band who did not exist, but who he decided to call Lightning Seeds.

Ian went on to release five hit albums throughout the nineties, producing eight top 20 hit singles and classics such as Life of Riley, Sugar Coated Iceberg, Pure, Perfect, Lucky You and 3 Lions.

Taking a break from the band, Ian went on to develop two unsigned bands The Zutons and The Corals and produced double-platinum debut albums for each.

He is currently writing and recording the first Lightning Seeds album for many years.

The Farm
The Farm are a Liverpool band who rode the infamous baggy music scene and got their big break in 1990 with the release of Stepping Stone, a indie dance remake of The Monkees' single (I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone.

After making it, their next simgle, Groovy Train, reached the UK Top 10 which was followed up by their buggest hit All Together Now which peaked at number four in the UK charts in December 1990

The Farm had a UK number one hit album with Spartacus the following year.

In 2004, All Together Now re-released as Euro 2004 (All Together Now), and edited by DJ Spoony and featured additional vocals by the St Francis Xavier Boys Choir of Liverpool. This version peaked at numner five in the UK Singles Chart.

Toploader
Since forming in 1997 Toploader have over two million album sales to their name and a string of top 20 hits both home and abroad.

Their debut album Onka’s Big Moka, sold over one million copies and remained in the Top 5 of the UK album chart for over six months earning them four Brit Award nominations.

In 2000 the single Dancing in the Moonlight became a global hit spending over a year in European Airplay Charts transforming Toploader into a household name.

In 2013 the same track re-entered the Top 40 for three weekend topped the 10,000,000 hits mark on Youtube, an incredible thirteen years after it was first released, cementing it as one of the biggest songs of recent times.

Their second album Magic Hotel reached number three in the UK Albums Chart and saw Joseph Washbourn (singer), Dan Hipgrave (guitar) and Rob Green (drums) embark on the biggest tour of their careers playing to over 100,000 people in the UK alone.

Three top UK bands, 17 UK Top 20 singles between them, each performing a 40 minutes set and over two hours of outstanding live music.
